Content & Social Media Marketing Intern

GmeSide, is a sports media technology startup on a mission to level-up the way fans catch their favourite sports to watch. GmeSide is building a personalized experience for sports fans and venues such as restaurants, pubs and bars to interact with each other.

GmeSide is seeking a passionate, creative and talented Content and Social Media Marketing Manager Intern to join the team and help take the company to the next level.

As the Social Media Manager Intern you will be responsible for developing and implementing our Social Media Strategy in order to increase our online presence and improve our marketing efforts. The Social Media Manager will also be expected to plan, manage and monitor the social media content in order to increase brand awareness. Our internships are designed to give you genuine, meaningful experience.

Your Impact

  • Develop, implement and manage our social media strategy
    Manage and oversee social media content
  • Stay up to date with the latest social media best practices and technologies
  • Measure the success of each social media campaign
  • Use social media marketing tools such as Instagram, Facebook and Twitter
  • Develop effective and appealing B2B content
  • Communicate with industry professionals and influencers via social media to create a strong network
  • Monitor user engagement and suggest content optimization
  • Collaborate with company members (Marketing, Product Development and Sales members)

What You Bring To The Table

  • Familiar with the Adobe Creative Suite, and proficient in Photoshop and Illustrator
  • Completed or working towards a degree or diploma in Marketing or relevant field
  • You are an articulate writer and have strong content management skills
  • Knowledge of SEO and web traffic metrics
  • You have a good understanding of social media KPIs
  • You have an experience using social media for brand awareness and impressions
  • You have an excellent knowledge of Instagram, Facebook, Twitter and other social media best practices and you love it!
  • You are a team player

Status – Part Time, 7 – 15 hours per week
