Content Developer & Copywriter Intern

GmeSide, is a sports media technology startup on a mission to level-up the way fans catch their favourite sports to watch. GmeSide is building a personalized experience for sports fans and venues such as restaurants, pubs and bars to interact with each other.

GmeSide is seeking a passionate, creative and talented Content Developer & Copywriter Intern to join the team and help take the company to the next level.

As Content Developer & Copywriter Intern you will be responsible for maintaining the GmeSide voice across marketing and brand materials in both print and digital mediums. This role will support marketing efforts through researching, writing, and managing content that supports the company’s marketing objectives. Our internships are designed to give you genuine, meaningful experience.

Your Impact

  • Generate content for external and internal communications across print, email, website, social media, and other communication channels
  • Support public relations activities including development of press releases and industry-related articles
  • Support email marketing and segmentation for product releases and other campaigns
  • Create shareable content across social media channels and blogs
  • Collaborate with both internal and external teams to create user case studies and spotlight articles
  • Create content for point-of-purchase (POP) advertising

What You Bring To The Table

  • Completed or working towards a degree or diploma in relevant field
  • You are an articulate writer and have strong content management skills
  • You understand the importance of cross-integration of marketing material
  • You are skilled at creating original concepts that result in effective and compelling communication
  • Results-oriented professional with excellent interpersonal skills
  • You are a team player

Status: Part Time, 7 – 15 hours per week
